The new terminal will be built in the Logan Airport complex, located near the Salt Lake International Airport terminal, and will be open to international passengers starting this fall, the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics said.

The new terminal is slated to be open in 2019.
Construction is expected to begin this fall on the Logan International Terminal, which will be the nation’s first to be completed as a new terminal, according to the U to U Travel Information website.
It is expected that the new complex will feature 12 terminals, with about 3,400 seats.
A number of other facilities will be part of the terminal, including a passenger loading zone, restrooms, baggage claim, baggage storage, baggage carousel and baggage storage facilities.

The Salt Lake Tribune says that as many as 10 million people a year pass through Logan Airport, which sits just south of the border.
The U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and on the Prevention of and Punishment for All Forms also stipulates that all foreign countries that have ratified the convention will be eligible to use its facilities.
